Why did you start running?

I began running to help myself lose weight in the beginning but later realized how much it helped my mental health.


How has running changed your life or mindset?

It changed my life by knowing all these amazing people! Everyone I have met through the run community has been amazing. It’s given me a challenge and definitely has made me become a new person. My younger self never

would’ve thought I’d be into running. If you told me 3 years ago I’d be into running I’d call you crazy!


Funniest or most memorable thing that’s happened to you while running?

I think it’s when I fell for the first time on my speed workout and the first thing I said was “uh oh oh I fell” while on the ground haha.


Favorite snack or treat after a run?

Tbh, any kind of food! Usually it’s either a burger or pizza haha


One piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting out?

Take your time. Enjoy every moment, even the ones that suck. It’s your own pace and no need to rush or compare yourself to anyone. You’re still a runner no matter what pace you are at.
